when karen and i attended the 2009 midwest smart car rally, we won a pair of silver finished, copper medallions for mounting on your smart from asmartcar.com. made of copper alloy with rich, black cloisonné enamel inlay, they provide both a brief history & specifications of the smart fortwo. each medallion is custom-engraved with your VIN # and either the release number of your smart car or the date and town where it was purchased. the recommended mounting area is on both sides of the tridion cell, 12" below the roofline. i wanted something different, so i got out the dremel tool, a few files, sandpaper and mixed some epoxy...the rest, as they say, is history!
